"Suspected" cases meet our methodology criteria: clinical case with consistent exposure history, awaiting laboratory confirmation, sourced to a Tier 1 (WHO/CDC/ECDC/PAHO/national ministry) or Tier 2 (ProMED, peer-reviewed lab) source. We do not include unsourced rumor or social-media-only signal in the Pro feed.
Tier 3 signals — wire service reports, regional health journalism, hospital-level reports — that we monitor but do not publish on the dashboard until corroborated by Tier 1 or Tier 2 sources. Enterprise customers receive these signals with a clear confidence flag, so risk teams can position before public confirmation.

What's exclusive is the aggregation, normalization, structuring, geocoding, and timeline reconstruction. Re-deriving this from primary sources costs you weeks per outbreak.
