Agreement

These terms govern your use of HantaOSINT (the "Service"), a web-based hantavirus surveillance platform operated by the HantaOSINT team. By accessing the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What HantaOSINT is

HantaOSINT is an independent open-source intelligence platform that aggregates publicly available data on hantavirus cases, outbreaks, and surveillance signals. We provide:

A free public dashboard
Free Telegram alerts for confirmed cluster events
A paid Pro tier with real-time API access
An Enterprise tier with pre-publication signal feeds and custom delivery

HantaOSINT is an information platform for journalists, researchers, and public health professionals. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or financial advice. If you have a health concern, contact your doctor or local public health authority. If you are in an emergency, call your local emergency number.

We make our best effort to source from primary public health authorities (WHO, CDC, PAHO, ECDC, ProMED, national ministries) but we cannot guarantee the timeliness, completeness, or accuracy of any specific data point. Always defer to your local health authority for clinical guidance.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service in violation of any applicable law
Scrape the public dashboard at a rate exceeding 60 requests per minute (use the API for higher volumes)
Attempt to circumvent rate limits, paywalls, or access controls
Republish substantial portions of our content without attribution and a link to the original
Use the Service to spread misinformation, including by selectively quoting our data out of context
Resell or redistribute paid-tier API data without written permission

Content and licensing

Free public data on this site is published under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0). You may use it freely with attribution to "HantaOSINT" and a link to hantaosint.com. Derivative works must use the same license.

Pro and Enterprise tier data is provided under a separate commercial agreement and is not CC-licensed. See your subscription agreement for details.

Our editorial content (briefings, articles, custom illustrations) is copyright HantaOSINT but quoted fragments under 200 words for journalistic or research use are explicitly permitted under fair use.

Paid subscriptions

Pro tier ($49/month)

Billed monthly via Stripe. Auto-renews until cancelled.
Cancel any time. No refunds for the current billing cycle.
7-day free trial available on request.
Rate limit: 1,000 API requests per day. Exceeding this returns HTTP 429.

Enterprise tier (contract)

Custom contract terms, SLA, and payment schedule.
Annual minimum commitment.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no warranty that:

The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
The data will be accurate, current, or complete
Any specific case count, country status, or risk level is correct at any given moment
The Service is fit for any specific purpose, including clinical decision-making

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HantaOSINT and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period (which is zero for free users).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify HantaOSINT against any claim arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms, abuse of the Service, or any conduct we determine in good faith to be harmful to the Service or other users. Paid subscribers will be refunded the unused portion of any prepaid period in case of termination by us not caused by their violation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, except where local consumer protection law provides otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version. We will notify paid subscribers by email of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
